RM Statements Emailed in Notepad Format?

Can anyone tell me why some of the RM statements that I've emailed at month end are sent as a pdf (which is what I want) and some are sent as a text file in notepad? I cannot find any differences in setup, etc. Any ideas?

    Hi -

    This should help you resolve the issue.

    community.dynamics.com/.../108627.aspx

    I had this same problem at my previous company and the included SQL script resolved the problem.
