Name of records are grayed out and buttons in ribbon not showing

Hello,

I have a few users with the same security roles assigned to them that no matter what entity they go into the name of the record shows like the below picture. Then I have some other users with the same security roles as the users having this issue and it works fine for them. I have tried removing all security roles and just granting system admin rights, same issue. My account with system admin rights works fine, no issues. There are no business rules on the form either. What would cause something like this?

I think that warrants filing a ticket with MS then as it clearly isn't anything "simple".

This has been tried, also didn't resolve the issue.

May or may not accomplish anything, but have you tried having the users log out, unassigning the D365 license, and then reassigning the license?

yes, they are in the same business unit

Did you verify the Business Units of these users and the ones having no problem?
