Hi Guys,

I have integrated the web portal with the Dynamics NAV 2016 web service. I offen get this error even when I am trying to do transaction from portal using the web service, which is kind of annoying and making us to make lot of manual entries etc.

Error: The operation could not complete because a record in the xyz table was locked by another user. Please retry the activity

Please let me know any suggestion or solution how to get over this error.

See any transaction taking more then 10 seconds can trigger locking and which locking it triggers that depends on the nature of transaction.

See if any transaction getting in loop and if anyhow you release it this error will go, that's how I did for one of my case and it worked as charm.
