Backwards Forecast Consumption

Hi All;

Does D365 have the functionality hidden somewhere to backward consume forecast?

I.E.

We have a customer that will order 1000 a month, that could vary week over week, but we know it's going to be 1000.

We would like to be able to load that forecast in the first week of the month and have it remain for the balance of the month for the sales order shipments to consume against while keeping the planned orders whole to the 1000.

What is happening now is that as each week passes the forecast that is not consumed gets chopped off. We can forward consume just fine using reduction keys, but cannot backwards consume.
