Lines not generated in Depreciation Proposal

Dear All :

I'm Facing Problem that when generating depreciation Proposal for certain asset , lines Not generated.

- Asset acquisition date (dd/mm/yyy) : 29/10/2022

- Run deprecation till date : 31/12/2022

here's screen shots :

Depreciation Journal :

No Lines Created :

Kindly assist and thanks in advance.

Hi ,

On FA books > Profile

are you able to see the schedule? Also check if your journal is setup with Current posting layer and you have open ledger periods for these months

In your initial screenshot for creation of the depreciation proposal, you're using the date of December 31, 2022. The screenshot of the periods you provided does not show this date as being open. Check that it is open in your 2022 fiscal year.

Also, as previously mentioned - check that the profile populates from the Fixed Asset Book page.

I tried to remove calendar and even there was no open journals , it's not allowed to remove calendar due to transactions .. plz refer to below screen shot.

Hi Sherif,

If you go to the asset book, there is a menu item called Profile. If you open that page, do you see future depreciation amounts?

What selection have you set when retrieving the depreciation proposal on the FA journal?
