Management reporter 2012 Multicurrency

Plz need an urgent help.

 

Getting following error when generating report in MR2012 in reporting currency, in functional currency report is printing a s normal. Company enabled with AA(Analytical Accounting)

 

Microsoft.Dynamics.Performance.DataProvider.Core.RequestException: The source system request did not complete successfully. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid column name 'TranslationDebitAmount'.

Invalid column name 'TranslationCreditAmount'.

When tried without AA enable company , report generated without error , but no amount translated in reporting still showing amount in functional currency only.

    Hi,

    Notice this post had been posted quite a while ago but we are still facing the same problem with Analytical Accounting (AA).

    Anyone found a solution for this?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the reply unfortunately when I tried with data mart nothing works it crashes when I open a row or column definition "The operation could not be completed due to a problem in the data provide" tried many suggested solutions none of them worked.

    I can live with running the report without a currency translation here is my scenario:

    -Two companies with different functional currencies and with AA enabled.

    -Report are working fine but when I run the consolidated one it fails. (TranslationCreditAmount)

    If anybody can help please do.

    Are you using the legacy or data mart integration for GP? I believe that you will receive this error if using the legacy integration. Analytical Accounting doesn't store currency translated amounts within GP, so I don't believe the legacy integration would return any valid values.

    For the data mart integration, it should return correct translated values.

    Hi,

    Have you resolved this issue? I'm facing the same error with analytical accounting.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Hi Muhammad,

    This looks to be a specific error to the AA company in Management Reporter. I would focus on trying to get this working in your non-AA company.
