Assembly BOM change Release 24 : Quantity per must have a value in BOM Component: Parent Item No

Since Version 24.3, user cannot insert / modify lines within Assembly BOM with Quantity Per is zero or empty.
 
You get an error message : "Quantity per must have a value in BOM Component: Parent Item No...."
 
In the case you are using Copy from Assembly BOM feature to fulfill Service Item component list, the quantity might be zero to let the user fulfill actual quantity and not apply by default the theoretical quantity.

In my opinion, this is a regression.

    It used to work without any problem until 24.1, and not since 24.2. Maybe linked to Assembly process for project implementation, but regression in any case

    Microsoft has an Ideas site where anyone can make suggestions to the product development team on functionality/capabilities within the software.  I also like the idea of having placeholders in the BOM, and I'm sure others would as well.
