Email notification not working on-premise

Hello everyone.

Please I need help regarding email notification for workflow approval (sales Order approval ).

The smtp email setting  is configure and confirmed working with testmails sent and received OK.

Notification setting are set to  > Approvals > email > instant 

The users get notification on they ms dynamic BC APPLICATION but no notification mails are sent to them.

Please I need help on what to do.

    Are you able to send other e-mail from the system So you know if it is the mail sending who is the problem or the setup of the workflow that is the problem?

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Users are able to send invoice and purchase order via email within the system.

    Furthermore, smtp configuration for notification is configured and tested OK.

    In addition to your response regarding workflow, when the workflow is initiated, the approvers get notified within the application.

    Have you checked that the notification templates you use have the notification type set to e-mail?

    And in the Notification setup that the schedule is set to immediately?
