NetAmount calc from GrossAmount

Hi,
 
I have a gross amount and I would like to net it.
Both TaxGroup and TaxItemGroup are available.
Is there a class that I could use to calculate this?
I don't just want division, because there are also VAT specialties that the factory class uses.
Could you please send me an example method?

    Yes, I would like to calculate the base amount from an amount that includes VAT using TaxGroup and TaxItemGroup.

    Can you please elaborate? Do you mean to ask how to subtract a sales tax amount from an amount including sales tax? For several purposes usually the class TaxCalculation is used.
