How do I set a min width of a bar on a bar chart?
The reason I want to do this is lets say there are two bars, one with with a value of 500 and one with a value of something very small, lets
say 1. The bar with a value of 1 will be too small to click on for the users.

I recommend the CRM Chart Guy, he has been around for years and has everything you need to know about charts. What you are referencing is called a scale break. This is simple edit of the XML.
Navigate to customizations > Customize the solution > Select the entity > Select chart and then in actions for that chart click "Export". This will give you the xml file to edit following directions in this blog: crmchartguy.wordpress.com/.../everything-scalebreak-in-ms-crm-2011-charts.
