spell check all fields in CRM 2016....

Hello,

Is there a way to do spell check for all fields on an entity rather than just the comments field?  I have the spell check add-on turned on in my browser and it does catch the misspelled words in the comments field, but another field it doesn't.  Just wondering if there is something I am doing wrong or if there is another tool that is needed?

Thank you.

    There is a property on html elements called spellcheck:

    <input id="otherText" spellcheck="true" type="text" disabled="disabled"  maxlength="500">

    That is not available for regular text fields in CRM. I don't think that there is a way that you can add that unless you use some unsupported customizations.

    yeah, I would want something for all free text fields that are not html based.  Was hoping not to have to purchase something.

    There is a 3rd party tool - espell - that does the work.

    Thanks everyone.  Seems like there is nothing out there for free right now, so I will have to go down the line of purchasing.

    Hello Aric,

    Just to be clear, what did you mean by "regular text fields"? For example, in Dynamics my firm has meeting notes with a short subject line and a longer free-text field for the meeting note itself (thousands of characters permitted)

    Is the spellcheck="true" tag available for these kind of long text fields in Dynamics (in order for a browser to underlined the misspelled words)? Are such long text fields what USA80 was refering to by "comment fields" in his question above?

    I just want to be clear about which types of Dynamics fields accept these spellcheck="true" tags and which type of fields do not

    Thanks,

    Ray
