Is there any ways to copy records from development to production

Hi,

somehow 2 account  records from production system was deleted permanently . Is there a way to get the exact copy of these records from development to production system.

    Hi,

    If you have audit enabled on those records, you can user XRMtoolBox -Recycle Bin plugin to restore deleted records.

    otherwise you can use code to copy record or easy option is to export  data from development and import to production (export will change record GUID).

    I have two methods in my mind:

      - Export/Import by using Excel : after exporting ur records you should erase the content of the A,B & C columns then import the file in your Production environment.

      - In XRM tool box try the tool  DATA transporter (by Bram Colpaert)

    Hi Alex , thanks for your answer . What can be done when data is totally lost also from production and dev environment ..would a backup work ? We are backing up the production last back up into development system and would try to import the records ..
