Delete Managed Solution won't work even dependent component doesn't exist

Hi

I got a problem:

I want to delete solution B which had a few Webressources in it and was imported last week. The Webressources are in the Solution A too which was deployed two days later. Now I can't delete solution B because it says Solution A is depending on Webresources from Solution B. I tried to deploy the solutions without said Webresources and that didn't help. Another thing I tried was to delete the component in the system and I still couldn't delete the solution.

Both solutions are managed

    Hi Manuel,

    Try creating holding solution to delete original managed solution by following the link below. I tried this once and could resolve the same issue.

    Hi

    You will have to remove the Web Resource from both solutions on your development environment where you have the unmanaged versions of these solutions.

    Export the solutions and import them again onto your target environment. Once these are imported, try the delete from Default solution.
