Sales Force Automation - CRM Basic licence

Hello,

By reading CRM Licenses restriction i found that, among other things, basic licence cant access

sales force automation. Can someone explain what does this in practice mean, user cant access what part or CRM? Sales module?

    Off the top of my head, it excludes them from using Quote > Order > Invoice, and anything to do with the product catalog. As well as a whole bunch of other stuff like Marketing Lists

    So the user will be able to see records regarding:

    Account

    Leads

    Opportunities

    Activities

    Custom entities

    Yes for Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Cases, Custom entities

    But Basic licence has read-only access for Opportunities, Quotes etc, and read-only for service managment (facilities, resources, articles...)

    OK, thanks for answer.

    So basically user can view opportunity but with basic licence, user is not able to open new opportunities.
