Requester to receive e-mail once task is approved

Good day

Any assistance with my query would be appreciated please.

We require that the requestor is sent an e-mail once the task has been approved. We have workflow on a Vendor card change and the Approver is receiving the notifiation and is completing the workflow, but the requestor is not receiving a notification after that. I have tried to ensure that I have all the relevant tick boxes enabled and I've had another consulant check what I've done, but still it is not working.

I'm now beginning to wonder if some customisation is needed for the requestor to be notified.

Would anyone have any ideas for me please?

Looking at the default "Vendor Approval" workflow, on the 'Then Response' for 'Remove Record Restriction', do you have the Notify Sender action checked here? Are you seeing anything in the 'Notification Entries' or 'Sent Notification Entries' window for this event?

Chris,

This feature already exist in workflows as a response; basically you design the Workflows, for Example for Sales orders, on the First Event (1st line) you can read Approval of a Sales document is requested, then on the Column "Then response" you click on the 3 dots after Add record restriction and you can find 4 lines for response, the last one state "Send Approval request for the record and create a notification"
I am pasting another picture where you can see and add another response to one of the Events (example: An Approval request is approved- 3rd line).
