Hi,

I am creating a new Bom and when using release to warehouse no wave and work is created.

however, when using release to warehouse for existing BOM its creating wave and then work.

I am not able to understand why for new BOM's its not working? Version is 10.0.35. I did a test run in USMF to see if I was missing any setup but, it worked fine with USMF demo data.

Could anyone help me to understand this issue?

Work not created when released to warehouse for a production order

Make sure that the stock is in different location that your standard production outbound location. If the the stock is in that location the system will auto consume with out creating warehouse work

Hi,

In the BOM ensure that warehouse in which you want to create work is mapped under warehouse .
