Hi,

When I create a customer from FO form (UI)  -- how does dual write pull it directly to CE? i know dual write uses entities, so is it like it exports the entity each time a new customer gets created/updated/deleted?


Is it correct that dual write works 1 entity per level? so if I create a customer from FO, I think It creates the party and the customer in the same transaction, so shouldn't the party be created in CE first before the customer gets created? so shouldn't it fail?

    Not an expert but as per my understanding

    Dual write export/import data from FO to Data verse

    You need to setup the environment also you can define list of tables or entity mapping for which sync is require (in data management)

    Hi D365FO user,

    Dual-write provides tightly coupled, bidirectional integration between finance and operations apps and Dataverse. Any data change in finance and operations apps causes writes to Dataverse, and any data change in Dataverse causes writes to finance and operations apps.
