Web page still showing up after deletion

Hi All,

I have a webpage which is set up as a table of contents. Under that webpage I have couple other webpage with Page Template.

All the webpages are working fine apart from one which throws me the below error.

error.jpeg.png

Going back to CRM under the specific parent webpage I can not see/find that record. Which means it does not exist in CRM but Portals still trying to retrieve it. Hence the above error. Is that a correct assumption?

How do I actually delete/hide this webpage from the public.

Thanks,

Pavlos

Hi Craig, thanks for the reply. Turning On/Off the portal did the job.

Agree with Craig.  I would Restart the Portal or change the Portal State to OFF and ON.  To find where the settings are please check out the below article.

What is the URL of the TOC page? When you attempt to view the offending page what is the url? Assuming that the cache invalidation is functional any time you delete a page the CMS should reflect that deletion, ie. the page should not be available leaving you with a 404 response on the portal.  For good measure I would restart your portal to rule out a caching issue. If you still find the fault I would expect that it might have something to do with the page templates being used. What page template is being used for both the TOC and the child page? IT would also be helpful to know any content used on those pages as the issue could be due to inline liquid code.

    Hi Nadeeja,

Thanks for coming back to me. Its 8.1xx version. For some reason although the web page has been deleted Portals still try to retrieve the webpage from CRM.

    Anything you can recommend?

    Thanks,

    Pavlos

    Hi Pavlos,

What's the version of the Portal?  Adxstudio 7.x or Dynamics 365 Portals 8.x?

    Cheers,

    Nadeeja
