Hey Guys,

I need urgent assistance trying to implement Workflows for a Client but i always encounter an error message while trying to install Web Services on Dynamics GP 2015R2 using the sa account, thus: The selected database exists but its owner is not a valid windows user.please provide a different database name.

I am unable to go further than that.

Helpful Steps And Suggestions on how to go about it will be appreciated.

You may want to read some article from Ian Grieve's blog.. he wrote quite extensively about the GP web client & web services: www.azurecurve.co.uk

Thanks A lot, We were able to pass that error by using the Windows user account but We encountered another error when we tried installing Web Services with the Web Client

    Invalid Object name 'Deployment Data'

Mike is correct.. Web Services are built on top of an AD user account.. won't work with a SQL user.. Please read the setup documentation carefully.

PS: the Dynamics community forums are not a place for 'Urgent' help/replies... this place is a forum that is not monitored continuously, but rather a contribution by volunteers to help other Dynamics users on their spare (free) time..

You need to use an Active Directory account  (The hint in the message is that you need a valid Windows User)
