Where does it starts from and where does it gets end.
I have come to know with below points, correct me if i am wrong.
it starts from generation Lead
then moving to opportunity
from opportunity make Quotation and create an order against that Quotation
and from the Order create an invoice .
Lead->Opportunity->Quotation->Order->Invoice.
after this Service Module will come into the picture.
For Cases-> Resolution of the cases.

Flow will starts from Marketing.

Then you will get leads and then your sales flow will start

Those things are somewhat unique for every organization. For example, where I work right now.. we don't have leads/opportunities/quotes/orders/invoices at all:) Still, what you are describing is more or less how it looks like for the standard sales/support cycle. But it does not mean everybody will be using leads.. or invoices.. etc
