We're still pretty new to RMS, we went live about 5 months ago.
Has anyone had any abuse with their plastic gift cards? Either by your cashiers or by customers?
Cashiers illegally loading up and giving gift card to their friends?
Is there anything we should know before we go live on plastic gift cards?
(We're currently still using paper gift certificates.)

Implement security on the Voucher button (Ctrl + Shift + F3). Also lock out the serial tab on the item properties so that someone cant balance check all available cards and then use them.
As far as adding a balance to a card , you can only do this from the POS and only updates the balance after someone has paid for it.
