Hello, I have just had this error on my setup and it was simply because that terminal/register did not have our certificate installed for the logged in user. So simply use IE and install as a Trusted Root Cert. Authorities.

Looks like RTS is down or not working. Hence, this error message is throwing.

Do inventory lookup and see, you may get error.

try accessing the service from POS using browser by giving even port. check the accessibility

    Check event viewer

if you are using personal certificate, check it is valid now.  if not, update the new thumbprint in config file of RTS application
