Problems on batch server worflows

I would like to know how our batch posting too long time on a specific batch workflow group.

Scenario:

We have 2 batches workflows.

	Batch Name	Descriptions
1	Batch1	product lines 1
2	Batch2	product lines 2

When trying to excerpt Batch1 to post as Batch and recurrence for scheduling. it's working fine. It takes 5-20 minutes to be posted status.

But in Batch2, it's too long time to become posted. It takes 1-2days sometimes more than that.

Can anyone who can solve?

Hi Eyevy,

Can you explain what exactly is put in batch? Workflow will pick up messages and process them to a new state. Posting is related to e.g. journals. So, what exact type of batch job are you talking about?

When something takes 5-20 minutes or 1-2 days, is the batch job at that time in executing state that whole time or is the batch job picked up too late?
