Can anyone help?

    I found this on a forum elswhere.  The solution worked for me.

    Hi I have resolved this issue at my deployment :)

    We had problems from upgrading crm 4.0 to crm 2011. Report's reported invalid argument and the report cannot be displayed.

    When I looked in Reporting services log C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles

    Log showed error:

    e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Cannot create a connection to data source 'CRM'., ;

    Info: Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Cannot create a connection to data source 'CRM'. ---> Microsoft.Crm.Reporting.DataExtensionShim.Common.ReportExecutionException: Immediate caller EXTREME\sql_admin has insufficient privilege to run report as user S-1-5-21-289027908-3579638067-1467573156-2689.

    I resloved this by going to Report Services Configuration Manager, and in the section Execution Account was sql_admin the user that doesent have prevelegy's. I have dechecked sepecifided execution account and problem was resolved.

    I Hope this will help!

    Kind regards

    I have created several reports in CRM.  The reports are working fine in Visual Studio.  When I upload the reports, test the queries all of the aspects work fine.  However when the report is developed for CRM I get the error message "The Report cannot be display. (rsProcessingAborted)".  The error is not related to the data issue as I can run other reports.  I realized previously I received this error when I was trying to run a report tha t was using a view and tables combined.  I am not doing that in the query, however I still get this error.

    Can anyone help?

    Was experiencing the same issue with the Execution Account set as an account without the privelages in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager. After un-checking the 'Specify an exexution account' the issue was resolved.

    Thanks for posting that update Joe! :)
