I would like to know if the Year in the Gl10111 table and the PeriodID care in sync. For instance if my fiscal year period is 4/1 thru 3//31 which means the fiscal year is the year March begins ie 2021 .Will the year field apply the same year that March begins to periods Aprill, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, January, February. These months were in calendar year 2020 but are part of Fiscal 2021. Will the Year field show 2021 for these 2020 transaction months.

Thank you for posting your question. The short answer is yes. The GL10111 history summary table should match the periods in the GL30000 table. If your fiscal year 2021 starts in 2020, then those periods should have a year flag of 2021 even though the actual date is in 2020. If you have not already done so, I would reconcile the 2020 and 2021 years and verify your summary balance matches the detail balance for the GL accounts. Reconcile will just take what it is in the GL20000 table (for open years) or GL30000 table(for history years) and sum the amounts for each period in the GL10110(open year) and GL10111(history year).
