For some time now, every time I publish via F6, the standard BC error message appears and I have to go back to the page and then everything works.

That's a little annoying.
There is no error message when publishing via CTRL+F5.

Do you know that too and do you maybe have an idea why that is?
The event log doesn't really help me.

    hi

It's possible that the error message you're seeing when publishing via F6 is related to a validation error in the page that you're trying to publish. When you publish a page using F6, Business Central validates the changes made to the page before publishing them. If there are any validation errors, Business Central will display an error message.

One possible reason why you're not seeing the error message when publishing via CTRL+F5 is that this option bypasses the validation process and publishes the page immediately without performing any validation checks. However, this means that any errors or issues with the page may not be detected until later.

To resolve this issue, you can try to identify the source of the validation error by reviewing the error message that appears when you try to publish the page via F6. The error message should provide some indication of what the issue is. Once you have identified the issue, you can correct it and try publishing the page again.

If you're still having trouble after reviewing the error message, you may want to reach out to your Business Central support team for assistance in identifying and resolving the issue.

Thank you for the tips, which I have also tested directly. Unfortunately, these didn't help.

Then I found the solution myself. A previous app version - which was actually also deactivated - was responsible for this. After I unpublished the old version, everything was fine again.

    Nevertheless, thank you again!
    Greetings Ralf
