Budget Upload - 12 months

Hi,
 
Is there a simple way to upload a 12 month budget split by month on to Dynamics 365?
A lot of instructions/guidance appears to show one entry that covers the whole 12 months.

    I dont work with Budgets in D365 F&O. But have you tried using the excel add-in? If you can show me which form\path it is I might give you more advice.

    Yes it's. You need to create your own layout. It can be done for Budget plan document. Not budget register entry.
    On the budget plan configuration, you need to create columns and then create a layout from that, which you apply to your Budget planning process.

    If you're using Basic budgeting, not Budget planning & control, I would use Data management (Budget account entries data entity) for importing a 12-month budget.  Open in Excel might work, but it's slower.  You just need to make sure your budget lines have the correct dates for each month/account combination.
