Lot numbering physical inventory order/ Journal

Good day everyone,

With regards to the physical inventory order/ journal, my understanding is that the physical inventory order is a more advanced feature that encompasses the mobile device scanning. I am facing an issue towards allocating a positive/ negative adjustments to a particular item and lot number.

For instance,

Expected quantity 100 cans of peas

LOT2 - 55 Cans

LOT51 - 45 Cans

After a stock count is performed:

Physical quantity: 110 cans of peas

LOT2 - 50 KG

LOT51 - 50 KG

I want to be able to do a positive/ negative adjustment of 5kg of carrots each to both LOT 51 and 2, but i dont see any fields that would allow me to do so in the physical inventory order/ recording page.

Steps I would do it,

1. calculate lines

2. make recording

3. create lines based on stock counted, in this scenario, 5

assuming I have done the actual stock take, with both lots having 50 cans each. As such, there would be a negative adjustment from Lot 2 of 5 cans, and positive adjustment from LOT51 for 5 cans.

4. Finish recording

5. Finish inventory order

6. Post order

My item tracking lines are empty, unlike the physical inventory journal, i can assign the surplus/ different to the different lots.

Would appreciate assistance towards this.

Thank you so much,

ZJ
