We recently upgraded from CRM 2015 to 2016 on-premise.

2016 new features allow us to get rid of an old solution. When I try do delete this solution, I get the following error message:

"Record is Unavailable

The requested record was not found or you do not have sufficient permissions to view it."

I am an Administrator so I don't think the permissions is the issue.

Plus, when I click on the solution, I get the "An error occured. Contact your system admin..."

Any ideas what is wrong? We rebooted the CRM, didn't fix the problem.

CRM version: 8.0.0.1088

    Hi

    Try this :

logon as another user (with administrator rights) to the computer and delete all files from:

    C:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache

These files are in use if you try to delete them as the user who has this error.

Thank you both for you suggestions. We tried them, but no luck so far.

We keep searching. I will post a solution once we figure it out.

There seems to have a form missing somewhere in the system. Here is the content of the error detail file:

    Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: systemform With Id = c68f2b23-eff3-497a-acfb-0534392cde1b Does Not ExistDetail:

After much research and no solution, we ended up asking our DBA modifying the entry in the Database.

The form componentstate was set at 2 (Deleted). We switched it to 0 (Published) and boom, we were able to delete the solution.

My best guess is that somehow, that form was deleted following a solution import, even if it was managed.
