prior year employee check register

I know it is possible to print check registers by payroll period. is it possible to get the same contents for the full prior year?

    I think no report available for your above requirement in GP. For this case, you can develop a custom report and add it to SmartList/SSRS report/Crystal report.

    the path suggested gives a historical check register. what I am needing is the full details of the Payroll Register, Including wages, taxes withheld, benefits and deductions for a specified date range. Not just the check listing.  

    Additional help please.

    Go to Payroll Historical Trx from Smartlist (Tools-->SmartList and expand "Payroll-->Payroll Historical Trx") and view the all the transactions except open records.

    You can print the Check history report by selecting a date range.

    1. Go to Reports >> Payroll >> History

    2. Select Check History from the drop down. Click on 'New'.

    3. Give a name to the report 'Options:'

    4. Select 'Date' in 'Ranges:' dropdown, Enter the date range you desire and Click on Insert.

    5. Click 'Print' after setting proper Destination.
