Does GP save changes made to XTNDPRCE?

Is there an XTNDPRCE history table/field?

I am developing a report that compares some information (from a different system),  to GP's XTNDPRCE field to report any profit/loss. But this system is time-based, and keeps track of changes made to costs. My problem is, when we compare price to cost, we use historical cost, but we compare it to GP's current price. If someone changes a price from say, 400 to 200, and the cost is 300, instead of having a profit of 100, now we have a loss of 100. Does GP keeps track of invoiced prices?

A snapshot of the sale is taken at the time of the sale. Within GP there is no way to change the extended sale price after the sale. Unless you turn on serial or lot number tracking there will be no way to have an exact match of unit cost to unit sell price. The cost of the item is locked in at the moment you post the invoices and is based on your inventory valuation method. This value is also locked in just like the sale price. You will find these values in the SOP30300 table. Now you may be able to get closer if all of you sales order are committed to purchase orders, You could pull the cost from the PO receipts and the sell price from the sales orders.

How about changes after the sale? Is that even possible?

The SOP30300.XTNDPRCE field will contain the extended price at the time of the sale.
