Setup Product Hierarchy by Product Variants(Dimensions)

Hi Team,

I use F&O v.10.0.20 and I'm trying to create a custom categorization of our product so that we can report on them easier.

It was suggested that I re-ask the question in this forum instead.

Example : 

All Products

      > Season 2020

      > Season 2021

          > Top 100

              >  Product 556677 with all Variants

          > Top 20

              >  Product 556677 - BLACK - XL

I tried to do this as a "Supplemental hierarchy" but I cant seem to assign a specific Variation of that product to a category.

Are you guys aware of anyway I can achieve this without customization?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Walid,

    Out of the box, there is no support to setup the hierarchies based on product variants; only on the product level. Note that you can't extend the primary key of a standard table in a customization. So, if you are considering a customization, it would require a complete new hierarchy design.
