Electrical issue and invoice number gap

We have 13 stores with RMS/POS/HQ client. Running RMS 2.0.0105

At 8 stores the Op. System is Windows 8 in the same CPU configuration. In one off those after an enviromental power cut, the invoice number jumps 992 numbers. Any one now why and and how this issue it's happening?

I found a solution, it´s about sql configuration.

I think you are using third party application trying to push rows in transaction table and it failed 922 times. This is the only scenario can cause this issue.
