Turning off outlook reminder for a user

Hi all. 

We have a user that has requested the notification below are turn off for him. The main issue is when we change a contact owner to him, he receives a notification "reminder" in his outlook. There isn't any activities / lead etc set for these contacts, it appears to happen when we either create a new contact with him as the owner or we change a contact owner to him from someone else. Any ideas how we can turn these reminder off for him but not for everyone else.
