BC Team Member License Capabilities in Service Management

Hello All,

I am looking for clarification on capabilities for the Business Central Team Member License in the Service Management Module...

Microsoft Documentation clearly states a Team member can edit their Time Sheets, which can be imported to the Service Lines of a Service Order. Can a Team member directly view and edit the /Service Tasks/ assigned to them, then adjust the service lines?
I have the same question (0)

don't think they can with a team member license. Team Members can perform basic functions like entering timesheets, but they usually have read-only access to most other data and functions.

Hi, you can submit your ideas to MS Ideas, and if there are enough votes, Microsoft may add these features in future versions.

    Thanks for the replies, everyone!

    Judy,

You're correct that it specifically states updating Time Sheets for jobs. I assumed updating them as a Service technician should be the same.

I could understand Microsoft blocking functionality to create/modify/delete on Service Orders, Service Lines, or Service Item Worksheet.

I would hope Micrsoft allows users with Team member licenses to update their own Time Sheets with service hours, similar to Job Task hours. Then, the "Time Sheet manager" with Premium license can approve the hours, then import to Service Lines. That's my thought process but I don't know how to confirm that.

Hi, as far as I know it's not possible, only Time Sheets.

Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.
    Thanks.
