Dynamics 365 Extremely Slow for Australian Office, Performs Fine for Canadian Office

Hi all,

We are a small company with offices in Canada and Australia. In the last month, our users in Australia have seen notable issues with performance using Dynamics 365 (online). Both offices are on the same instance, and our Canadian users have had zero issues during this time. The Australian office did not have these issues prior to 4-6 weeks ago. Our instance is pretty straightforward in terms of a few custom fields here and there, and a workflow or two - nothing that has caused issues with loading on the Canadian side of things. We do have Legacy Form Rendering turned on for use with the AbleBrigde Project Management solution, however this has been the case for months, and again, no issues for our Canadian users. The instance is hosted in Canada from my understanding (.crm3).

I had one of my colleagues in Australia use the Dynamics 365 Diagnostics tool, and the latency is around 380ms. Nowhere does Microsoft mention an issue with global offices sharing the same instance, and it's starting to affect the quality of data entered into the system because of the slowness. My colleague in Australia even contacted their ISP to see if they could help. The speed at the office there is not the issue.

It is very frustrating having half of the company operating fine on the platform while the other half experiences major slowdowns on everything including lists and forms. We've used other CRMs in the past (Accelo, Salesforce) that were hosted online and never had this issue. We don't have a massive amount of data in the system or a mess of user permissions either.

Our business is heavily invested in Dynamics (and Office 365 in general) and we really need a solution to this moving forward. Any ideas?

Thank you,

KJ
