Hi
i am using GP 8 with sql server 2000. Right now i have company database (CMPNY) and one other database (ABC). In ABC database another application insert its data and i pick this data and make an invoice in company database(CMPNY) from backend.
I have given undo functionality to all users to undo the created invoice from GP third party window. Poblem is that when i try to undo invoice it throw permission error. Because ABC database is not the part of DYNGRP.(my actual data reside in ABC database).
I have made DYNGRP role in ABC database and assign the right to the user manually ,it works fine. Now i have more than 400 users. So is there any other way to achieve this gole without mannualy assign rights to each user ?
Note : Because of performence issue and company policy i cannot create ABC database's table in company database (CMPNY).
Wajahat
