    Dear Annette

    In my opinion, recording a Macro on the Account Maintenance Window is one of the easiest ways. Excel functionality can enhance the Data Entry of the Chart of Accounts. Although, you need to take into consideration several points, such as;

        1-  In case there are any other windows that will pop up through the Data Entry, they shall be included in the Macro Code. For instance, A new segment will pop up the "Segment Setup window".

        2- Divide your Macro into sections (Column for each segment)

        3- In case of duplications, consider another Excel sheet containing the "Current Accounts" in order to eliminate any error message while the macro is played.

    In case you have the Account Level Security, you can consider another Macro to grant access on the Chart of Accounts.

    There are other tools as well. SQL Server will import from Excel and Bridge Builder Software has a migration tool.

    Yes and you can use the integration manager to do that.
