FA Posting Types - Custom 1 and Custom 2

Can the FA Posting Types - Custom 1 and Custom 2 be renamed? If so, what are the steps to do this as they appear locked from editing and unable to export/import with edited name.

    It is an option type field and its values are mentioned in code. You cannot update that unfortunately.
