Reduce Database size

Hi,

Need your guidance on reducing the database size in Dynamics F&O, Production and Sandbox environments.

We are using a cloud implementation, update 10.0.29.

We also refersh the UAT database from production every once a while.

Do you recommend using Sharepoint for attachments; example invoices soft copies, instead of storing them in Dynamics?

I have the same question (1)

    Hi Hossam,

If you are using a cloud deployment, then you can consider running cleanup jobs. You can also look forward to new announced features to archive some transactional data in a Dataverse instance. You can read about this in the new release plan for 2023 wave 1.

For attachments, there is an option to store them in a BLOB storage linked to the Dynamics 365 instance.
