We are using SmartList Designer to create some additional reports and that is all working great. However, when I go to run the report and add / remove / move some of the columns of information and save it with a unique name under favorites it reverts back to the original format when I go back in. The new name / favorite is there, just not any of my changes. I have experienced this on two different installs.

I did some further testing and was not able to reproduce the issue that you are describing. Can you provide more detail on how you create your SmartList in SmartList Designer to see if is a bug within SmartList Designer or if it is an issue specific to your environment.
As of now, it appears to be an issue specific to your environment as I was able to create a new SmartList in SmartList Designer under Microsoft Dynamics GP>>Tables>>Financial>>Account Master.
I then saved the new SmartList, then went and clicked on the Columns button. I removed columns and rearranged columns then I saved this SmartList as a favorite. I then closed out of GP and came back in and my changes were still correctly saved for this SmartList.
Is there a step I am missing or are you initially creating your SmartList in a different way in Designer?

This is happening for all accounts working off of a client machine, remote desktop or the SQL server. My normal SmartLists are okay, this is only with new SL's created with the new Designer.
I call up my new report, perfect - make modifications, remove / rearrange a column and save it. The report is saved in SL; however, it is saved back to the default values with none of my changes. I created one using a new SQL View and another one on a different system from an existing SL and the same behavior.

Hello Mary,
To better understand the issue that you are experiencing, can you please clarify on the following.
1. Does this happen for all users including the 'sa' account?
2. Does this happen if you log in directly on the SQL Server?
3. Does this only happen for SmartLists that are created using SmartList designer or does this happen for the default GP SmartLists as well?
