I have Reports by Crystal

I run it from Outside GP, the SA user is the only user can login all other users unable to login, what is the reason for this?

When you create GP users, their password is encrypted and cannot be used outside of GP easily. David Musgrave has a great blog post with a lot of detail on this: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/developingfordynamicsgp/archive/2008/10/02/why-does-microsoft-dynamics-gp-encrypt-passwords.aspx.

GP Encrypts the passwords for GP users that are created on the SQL server box. Therefore logging in at the Crystal level does not work as it does not contain the encryption algorithm. Options are: 1. Create a separate user on the SQL box OUTSIDE of GP and make it part of the DYNGRP on both your DYNAMICS and Company databases. Hard code this user and password in the connection for the GP Database. 2. Create a Domain Local group for users that need to be able to run the report Add this group to the Security on the SQL box as a Login (do not use GP for this) Add the login to the DYNGRP database role for the DYNAMICS and Company databases Set the connection in Crystal to use Trusted security Regards Paul
