I am desperately trying to get my head around assembly kits.
For us these are items made up from multiple products we sell individually (we don't manufacture)
We have customers who pay a fixed price for a /kit/ and other customers pay based on the individual component prices.
We also need to be able to compile a list of components for picking.
So my questions are
- how can we set up Business Central so that when entering assembly kits on order, the packing list compiles a list of total items, not lists the same item multiple times
- how can we set up assembly kits so that when we explode the BOM it doesn't recalculate based on the individual item pricing?
I hope I am making sense and someone can assist.
