How to setup development for extension in the Commerce POS

Hi,

There may be lot of input regarding the setting up Development environment for making few extensions on Dynamics 365 commerce POS.

Will you you able help me with short and simple methods to setup Extension Development environment on my windows pro PC/Laptop with 16 GB RAM. 

I am trying to install but so much like install NODES, Yarn, NPM, many others with links and deeps.

Please, help me because still I love Microsoft even though there  are long and heavy routes to get ready a single application ready.

    Hi, I assume you are trying to set up an environment to extend CSU and POS. Looks like you are following the document to create a development environment for E-commerce. To create a simple dev environment on a laptop, the best way is to roll out a Self Hosted Commerce Scale Unit + Install MPOS/Store Commerce App.

    Just now I  Downloaded Commerce VHD and installed on my Hyper-V VM. 

    This would help to develop something right?

    That is the best way to do so that you can test real-time services as well. However, it will be a little heavy on a laptop with 16 GB RAM and a client processor. Disable services and batch jobs that you won't use on a daily basis.

    Can you help  me how to steps because I am struggling with VS, Yarn, VSCode etc.  I can do coding VS code . I have system with 16 GB RAM, Good sized HDD, Windows 10 Pro
