Outlook Sync Issues

Hello,

I am running into the below issues and looking for some help to resolve them.

- Contacts are syncing based on the Owner field. It should not. Should only sync to those users who are listed in the Relationship sub-grid.
- Inactive contacts are being synced. They should not.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    Hello,

    If using Server Side Synchronization to sync contact records, these records would be synched based off of the sync filter criteria under the users personal options page.

    If the end user logs into Dynamics > clicks the gears icon in the upper right > clicks synchronization tab > clicks filters > clicks my contacts filter. This should be the criteria that is synching the record.

    If this appears to not be honoring the sync criteria that is set here, I would suggest in opening up a Dynamics 365 support request so Microsoft support could take a look into why the sync criteria is not being honored.
