After an update to 10.0.16 the saved views of the Quality orders stopped working

Hi,

After we updated our production environment to 10.0.16 there were several issues with the personalized settings. Most of them we fixed. There is one which percists.

The saved views in the Quality orders form don't work. The issue is the following. When I am in Standard view, I filter by the field Test group and save my view. When I try to return to Standard view, nothing happens. When I refresh the window and then try to go to my saved view, nothing happens.

Does anyone experience the same issue? Is there a way to fix it? Can this be classified as a bug?

    Hi Simeon!

    There's a similar issue in LCS: issue 482509, KB number: 4586278 - "Saved views not working for test groups".

    Problem description:

    "Unable to save the view in Inventory management/Setup/quality control/test group after applying the filter, it’s the same when working on Quality orders as well.

    When we close and open the page the filter is not applied."

    Microsoft flagged the issue as "by design" with the following comments:

    "This is currently by design. Only pages with the large view selector allow queries (filters/sorts) to be saved with the view definition; pages with the small view selector do not save queries. This is documented in the Saved views article (docs.microsoft.com/.../saved-views, and there are details about which types of forms currently have a large view selector in the Building forms that fully utilize views article (docs.microsoft.com/.../understanding-saved-views. We understand more pages may need to save queries in the future, and additional work will need to be done to enable this."

    Hi, George.

    It cannot be by design because we have an environment we didn't update to version 10.0.16 and it doesn't have this issue.

    It became a big issue because our client is highly reliant on personalized views, as all I would guess.

    Just to clarify, in 10.0.14 the issue didn't exist.
