'In stock' filter in Category landing page in POS

One of my customer is looking for 'In stock filter' on category landing page in POS. Products are having different inventory dimension like size, color, style and configuration. I remember there was 'product availability' as a filterable attribute in Commerce website.

Can someone share details on how it works. As in Does it maintain separate view etc which keeps inventory at product level to enable filter in PLP. I don't want to call the service as many time as products (variant) belongs to a selected category.

GetDimensionValuesWithEstimatedAvailabilities is the service being called corresponding to each master product either in product search module or category landing.

For customization, I couldn't figure out if this service is exposed and can be called by POS/ third party via CSU. I am just trying to find a easier way of doing it.

Hi,

If you are asking about the stock level functionality in Commerce I asked MSFT about this at POS a few months back and was advised it is only there for websites, for POS use you would need to add a customization.
