Dynamic 365 for Marketing

Can anyone help me understand Dynamics 365 for Marketing. Is it different from  Dynamics customer engagement . We do have Marketing module in Dynamics CE full suite. Is it connected with Marketing Module in Customer engagement for Sales

    Hi Partner,

    If you are using Dynamics 365 CE on-premise then yes Marketing is included in the same Customer engagement Plan. Here's the Article:

    Hi Ravinder,

    There are many differences between marketinglists/marketing campaigns in Dynamics 365 CE and Dynamics 365 Marketing. The most imports ones:

    • In Dynamics 365 Marketing you can track click behavior of the recipients after they have received the email. In Dynamics 365 CE you don't know what happened after the mail was received. This is called closed loop marketing. 
    • Microsoft charges Dynamics 365 Marketing use with a tenant license on the one hand and by the number of involved marketing contacts on the other hand. A marketing contact is a Dynamics 365 CE contact who participated in a Dynamics 365 Marketing customer journey.
