Could you please explain how to configure the Security Role? Which Duty or Privilege do I need to assign so that the Delete button is visible?

    Hi @SI-07080247-0,

If there is an existing duty with Delete access to Item Coverage Setup, you can assign that to the user's role. Otherwise, create a custom privilege with delete access for the Item Coverage Setup menu item and add it to the role.

I’ve already tried that, but it didn’t work. Do you have any other suggestions?

    Hi,

The copy action is part of the privilege Maintain item coverage setup. However, the Delete button is designed with a manual needed permission. See screenshot below.

This means that explicit form control permissions must be set on the privilege. As the form gets opened by coding (action menu item) and not a display menu item, the security configuration page can't be used and development is required.

You can solve this in two ways.

    1. Extend the form and set the value for NeededPermission to Delete.

    2. Create a new privilege in Visual Studio and add form control permissions for the Delete button.

You can read more about securing form controls on my blog: Securing a menu item is not enough - form controls - Dynamicspedia

    Hi @SI-07080247-0,

The security role should work. If it isn't, then it's likely a customization. Check if the Delete button is being hidden in the form code by setting deleteBtn.visible(false)
