Greetings,

Please is it possible to create a purchase order workflow that has multiple approvers based on the department selected. If user A selects department one on the purchase order, approval goes to Approver A, while if same user A selects department two on the purchase order, approval goes to Approver B
I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Yes you can Create the Different "Workflow User Groups". And set the Approval based on "Approval Chain".

    Hii there
if you have only 1 approval or have some amount authorised so you can set user in approval user setup as per user id-> approver id .

Also you can set purchase , sales amount approvel limit for user .

In these cases, you would set up multiple approval workflows. Each workflow should include a condition to specify the department. For example, the first workflow would have a condition where the department is 'One' and route approvals through Approver Chain One. Similarly, the second workflow would apply to Department 'Two' and follow Approver Chain Two.

    Valentin's solution is the best.
I think if you want to make it simpler, you can also use Workflow User Group directly. Set these two users as approvers at the same level. They choose to approve their own orders.

    Thanks

Yes, you can use the Workflow User Group, which is straightforward for updating the sequence. Additionally, you can leverage the out-of-the-box Power Automate.
